Butlr Home Services LLC ("Butlr," "we," "us") runs a text-based booking service that connects you with local home service professionals. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
1. Information we collect
• Contact details: mobile phone number, name, email (if provided).
• Request details: the service you need, your service address, your availability, and any photos or notes you send.
• Messages: the content of texts you send to and receive from us.
• Payment details (if applicable): processed by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers.
• Website data: basic device, browser, and usage data collected through cookies or similar tools when you visit our site.
2. How we use your information
• To understand your request and book a service professional.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, schedule changes, and support replies.
• To answer questions and resolve issues.
• To improve our service and keep it secure.

3. Automated and AI processing
We use automated tools, including artificial intelligence provided by our technology vendors, to read and organize your requests and to help schedule appointments. These vendors process your information only to provide services to Butlr and are required to keep it confidential.

We share only what is needed to deliver the service you asked for:
• Service professionals: the business performing your job receives your name, service address, job details, availability, and contact information needed to complete and coordinate your appointment.
• Service vendors: companies that help us operate (text messaging, hosting, AI processing, payments, customer support), under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal reasons: when required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of users, the public, or Butlr.
• Business transfers: if Butlr is merged, acquired, or sells assets, your information may transfer as part of that deal, subject to this policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Mobile and SMS privacy
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP. Reply HELP for help.
6. How long we keep information
We keep your information as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, keep records required by law, and enforce our agreements. We then delete or de-identify it.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards. No system is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
• Stop texts: reply STOP.
• Access, correct, or delete: email us. We will verify your identity and respond within the time required by law.
• State privacy rights: depending on where you live (for example, California), you may have added rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We will not discriminate against you for using them.
9. Children
Butlr is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us, and we will delete it.

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
